Joe Prado On Why Batman Is His Favorite DC Character To Draw

Joe Prado, the artist on this weeks Justice League of America Rebirth #1 sat down in the DC Comic Art Academy to show how he does his art. Prado immediately starts on a sketch of Batman, who he says his wife hates him to draw because he always draws Batman. He jokes about how he wasn't going to draw Iron Man… and says that Batman is his favorite DC character to draw because he grew up with Batman on TV, in the movies, etc. Though he's also a fan of drawing Flash, Green Lantern and Hawkman. You don't see a lot of love for drawing Hawkman.

He also mentions Chiaroscuro Studios, the group he co-owns that represents a bunch of the artist working for DC today.
