Dietrich Smith Makes Drawing The Joker Look Easy
Talented artist and friend of mine, Dietrich Smith, likes to do warm-up sketches like a lot of artists do. Smith wrapped up Battlestar Galactica: Death of Apollo not too long ago for Dynamite and just teased that he has a new series coming up with BOOM! Studios that he can't talk about yet… but he tells us that it's dark, action packed and tackles today's issues.
Here smith shows us a warm-up sketch of the Joker from rough sketch to finished colors. Sped up like that, he makes it look damn easy.
