Good Art And Realistic Advice From Harley Quinn's Chad Hardin

Harley Quinn artist Chad Hardin is the latest to sit down for the DC Comics Art Academy. In his session, Chad draws an image of Harley Quinn while talking about how he broke into the industry after starting out as a construction worker in the hot Las Vegas sun. He goes on to talk about one of the most important aspects of getting in as an artists, developing your own style. And learning to draw from nature. But when it comes to the advice on drawing, his suggestion that it's okay if you get sent to detention because you were drawing in math class as long as you draw in detention as well… that may not fly with the parents and teachers out there. But his other advice is pretty sound and realistic.
