Floyd Norman Recreates The First Mickey Mouse Cartoon Strip From 77 Years Ago

Here is a neat treat for Mickey Mouse fans. This past Friday was the 87th anniversary of the day the first Mickey Mouse comic strip was published (January 13th, 1930). The strip was written by Walt Disney and drawn by Ub Iwerks who would go on to draw the first Mickey Mouse cartoon as well. To commemorate the event, current Disney artist Floyd Norman did a YouTube live-stream on Friday where, sitting at Floyd Gottfredson's desk (the man who took over the strip a few months after it debuted), Norman recreated the cartoon strip while answering viewer's questions.
