Exploring The Characters Of The Magicians

Season one of the Magicians, based on the novels by Lev Grossman, mainly took place in Brakebills University and the real world. The season finale took the young group of magic users to the mystical land of Fillory… where all hell broke loose. Season two takes the characters in all new directions and the video below has the cast talking about their characters' journeys. Jason Ralph specifically mentions Quentin Coldwater having a quest he must succeed at completing. This is a big change as for most of the first season, he was passively moving through life as things affected him. It will be interesting to see how the character will change being more actively in charge of his life.

The Magicians returns January 25th to SyFy.
