The Science Behind Morgan – Rubbing Shoulders With Creation

A couple of months back we saw the release of Morgan, a film about a corporate risk-management consultant (Kate Mara) having to decide whether or not to terminate an artificially created humanoid being (Anya Taylor-Joy). Behind the story is the question of genetic engineering. If it was possible to alter a child's DNA before it was born to guarantee health, gender, intelligence or any other genetic feature… should we? That discussion is continued in the video below featuring experts on the subject and producer Ridley Scott. who considers that type of science as, 'rubbing shoulders with creation'.

Morgan is available on Digital HD December 2nd and on Blu-ray and DVD December 13th.
