Doctor Strange: The Oath/Forbidden Planet/Local Comic Shop Day Mixup Solved

Today, through Local Comic Shop Day, Bleeding Cool has been following the controversial topic of whether or not Doctor Strange: The Oath made it to UK stores or whether it was an ordering snafu.

Reports came in from customers at Forbidden Planet to Bleeding Cool this morning, questioning its wherabouts. Staff had told customers that no UK stores received the hardcover remastering of the Brian K Vaughan/Marcos Martin hardcover volume, favoured by Benedict Cumberbatch, and exclusive to stores participating in Free Comic Book Day.

This was countered by reports that other participating comic stores in the UK had all their copies.

Even more so, Forbidden Planet in London had plenty! Just all the other FP's were lacking.

What was going on?

Well, Forbidden Planet reps got in touch with Bleeding Cool, somewhat sheepishly, telling us that Forbidden Planet had received its full order if the hardcover grimoires. But, for some unknown reason, they had all been delivered to the central London store…

So… they have plenty! Just you'll need to get to Shaftesbury Avenue first.
