DreamWorks Animation Pulls Plug On The Croods 2

croodsYou’d think that a $527 million worldwide box office would be enough to guarantee a sequel, but that isn’t the case for the animated film The Croods. The film has had issues for a while now, with a different set of writers brought in… but now the Croods 2 has been given the ax. With the project already having difficulties and the studio heads figuring out priorities since DreamWorks Animation got bought out by NBC Universal, the sequel to the 2013 film didn’t make the cut.

There is no indication if this will effect the Netflix series Dawn of the Croods which has two seasons out so far.
