Are Midtown Comics Really Opening A New Store In Crown Heights, Brooklyn? Not Quite…

The word came into Bleeding Cool that Dimitrios Fragiskatos, the manager for Midtown Comics Grand Central store, was seen in the Crown Heights area Brooklyn. That he was "eyeballing" a building and its store front. And making noises about it being perfect for a comic book store.

The next day, Midtown Comics posted that they are looking to hire a new store manager.

Are the two related? Well, yes, but not in the way our source thought they might be. Midtown Comics are not opening a new story in Brooklyn.

But Dimitrios Fragiskatos is.

Midtown Comics tells Bleeding Cool "One of our long time store managers and friend, Dimitrios Fragiskatos, is venturing out and looking to open his own shop in Brooklyn, NY. Although we are not directly involved in any facet, we fully support him, and wish him all the luck and success, and know he'll do all he can to expand our great industry."
