Don't Expect Any Blade Movie Or TV News In The Near Future

At NYCC, Kate Beckinsale said that Marvel seemingly had plans for Blade to return, meaning the character and Underworld couldn't cross over.

Well, if you got excited for that, maybe hold you horses just a little bit. During a preview of 15 minutes of Doctor Strange, The Playlist where there to catch a quote.  Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige, talked about the comment and said it was true, but there is nothing in the pipeline:

They did ask a long time ago and I think our answer was, 'No, we'll do something with 'Blade' at some point.' That's still the answer, We still think he's a great character. He's a really fun character. We think this movie going into a different side of the universe would have the potential to have him pop up, but between the movies, the Netflix shows, the ABC shows there are so many opportunities for the character to pop up as you're now seeing with Ghost Rider on 'AGENTS of S.H.I.E.L.D.' that rather than team up with another studio on that character let's do something on our own. What that is? Where that will be? We'll see. There is nothing imminent to my knowledge.

Introducing vampires into the MCU is no where near the most out there thing in the universe, but it certainly would add a new 'vibe' that might be tough to juggle. At the same time, it would be great to see the character to. He could be really fun.
