Slash Fiction The Subject Of New Teen Comedy Film

Came across this trailer for an independent comedy film called Slash. It's a teenage coming of age film centered around the world of slash fiction. If your not familiar with slash, it's described as a type of fan fiction that focuses on interpersonal attraction and sexual relationships between fictional characters of the same sex. In the movie, Neil (Michael Johnston) gets caught with some slash fiction he has written and it ends up all around school. Julia (Hannah Marks) like his writing and encourages him to put it on-line which leads to a slash convention / comic con.

Slash also stars Violett Beane and Michael Ian Black. It opens December 9th.
