Daniel Craig Is Still The Number One Choice For Bond 25
There has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding Daniel Craig as Bond in the upcoming movie. The actor seemed to make it pretty clear that he didn't want to come back to the role in the junket circuit for Spectre.
However, it seems he isn't out of the running for Bond 25 yet. Speaking on BBC Radio 4. Callum McDougall who has worked on Bond for nearly a decade said that producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson still want Craig to return. He said the actor is:
absolutely the first choice
before adding:
I know they're hoping for him to come back
It feels like a good time to make a clean break for the series to me, so I'm personally hoping they go in a different direction. Having said that, Craig is great in the role, so it is hardly a disaster if he stays. Hopefully this is resolved in the near future.
