Beauty Is In The Eye Of Shaun Simon

Shaun Simon is the former keyboardist for New Jersey band Pencey Prep who is now a comic book writer, the writer of Art Ops, The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys and Neverboy.

He also just put out a short webcomic…

He writes,

"As a writer, I am constantly looking for collaborators–artists who share a similar vision and penchant for telling unique stories. I had been toying with the idea of doing a webcomic when I received a message from Cian Tormey, a tremendous up and coming Irish artist who I follow on Twitter, asking me if I had a short script he could work on. I wrote, "EYE OF THE BEHOLDER," many years ago and it sat in my documents folder ever since. The story always stuck out in the back of my head and it was one that I'd hope to make one day. What I realize now is that the story waited for Cian.

It is small story about the eyes of perception and finding your place in the world, even if that place is a few hundred years away. It was made out of our love for comics and one we are happy to share. "
