Andrew Dominik's Nick Cave documentary One More Time With Feeling
chronicles the recording of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds upcoming album, Skeleton Tree. But is also a chronicle of Cave — along with family and friends — coping with the sudden death of his fifteen-year-old son Arthur last year.
In the following clip (posted by Indiewire), Cave talks about the lines on his face. At first, it would seem to be the artist confronting his ever-aging form, until the key phrase "they weren't there last year" reveals how much grief he is still processing.
