Dark Matter And Killjoys Get Third Season Renewals

syfylogoSyfy announced yesterday that their two Friday night series Dark Matter and Killjoys will be returning for a third season. Killjoys wraps up its second season tonight while Dark Matter has two episodes next week and then the finale on September 16th.

The two series are part of the networks push to bring science fiction back to the forefront of their programming.

Killjoys is about three bounty hunters in a section of space called The Quad that is on the bring of war. Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) is the leader and then there are the brothers John (Aaron Ashmore) and D'avin (Luke Macfarlane).

Dark Matter is about a crew that awakens on a malfunctioning space ship with no memory. The series stars: Melissa O'Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr. and Jodelle Ferland
