The Secret Of The New Deathmate In Bloodshot #16

Bloodshot Reborn #16 goes on sale this week and it reveals some of the secrets… not all… of the new Deathmate. For readers who were around when Image and Valiant started and remember the Deathmate series, it wasn't about a single person but rather when Void from WildC.A.T.S. met up with Solar: Man of the Atom. But now instead of the title of a series, its the name of a character and one we've come across before. One that means something to Bloodshot.

Jeff Lemire and Mico Suayan are hitting it out of the park with Bloodshot Island. The general concept was easy to get behind and the twists and turns have been surprising. And the reveal of Deathmate was something I definitely didn't see coming. This is by far the best Bloodshot arc so far.

I like that Ray Garrison feels a connection to the other Bloodshots and the the Bloodhound has been stealing the show. I can't wait for the next issue.
