Valiant 4001 AD Time Capsule Comic Sells For $190

Looks like it may have been worthwhile for retailers to get the Time Capsule promotion from Valiant Entertainment. They contain five copies of 4001 AD translated into Japanese, especially for the Time Capsule. Not to mention all the lithographs and 4001AD dated coins.

I was curious to see just how much in demand they were and put one of the comics up on eBay, expecting $10 to $20. Turns out at least one person was willing to pay $190. And a second was willing to pay $185…

Looks like some retailers are going to have a happy summer of Valiant.
