We are looking for a creative individual with illustration and visual narrative communication skills to join our new team and contribute to teaching, research and business engagement activities on our exciting and innovative BA (Hons) Comics, Graphic Novels and Sequential Arts Programme. You will be working in a high quality learning and teaching environment, including blended and distance learning and you will be expected to contribute to the design and delivery of modules and programmes and to research excellence in Art and Design.

It is essential that you have a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline plus either a Higher Degree (or equivalent professional qualification), or significant practical work experience in a related discipline.

The successful candidate will be committed to research, scholarship and a student centred approach to learning and teaching and will possess excellent communication skills.

The Tees Valley is an enjoyable place to live – in the heart of the North of England's coastline and countryside, with easy access to Durham, Newcastle and York.
