Greg Rucka And Nicola Scott's Black Magick Gets A TV Deal – And An eBay Bump

  • Announced at San Diego Comic-Con, the magical realism comic book series Black Magick, noted for its innovative use of black-and-white painted artwork with splashes of specific colour to highlight the magical world, within the police procedural reality, has been optioned for a TV series.
  • Groundswell Productions, the company behind films such as Milk, and the new Amazon Prime show Betas, won the rights for the series by Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott from Image Comics and are planning for a hour-long series.
  • As a result back issue sales have taken a jump with the magazine sized variant of issue 1 now selling for $15 and people starting to ask for more
