Which Other X-Men Will Appear In Legion? Reading Between The Lines Of The Trailer From Marvel And Fox At San Diego Comic-Con

By Joe Glass

After the panel long vaudeville act between Joe Quesada and Marvel TV's Jeph Loeb, attendees were finally treated to what that 'thing' they kept going on about was.

After Loeb took over and started, fairly solemnly, discussing how everyone thinks they don't talk about X-Men, and mentioning how X-Men movies are with Fox, he went into talking about a closeness between Jeph Loeb or Marvel TV and the heads of FOX TV and the implication seemed to be they are working together in some way.

That's not to say we'll see the Marvel TV Universe and Fox TV universe crossover any time soon, but there was a sense of discussions are happening.

He then revealed the world premiere of the Legion trailer, which I understand is now out for the world to see.

My takeaways from the trailer was comparing its heavy visual, humor and dramatic style to Fargo, but also a strong sense of action. That the shady government agent type actually says 'mutants', implying it being a time of the world knowing about mutants and not the titular Legion being a first one. Which does leave us wondering, will there be other mutants? David Haller mentions another person – "Maybe it's her power"…how far can it go? Could other X-Men characters be making their television debut?

We are not left with any new information on if David's connection to Charles Xavier will be brought into the show, but I will say, the trailer immediately brought me into mind of the recent Si Spurrier X-Men Legacy run that focused on the character.

But tell us, now that you've all seen it, just as every other SDCC exclusive trailer has been officially released onto the Internet immediately afterwards, what do you all think?
