Aquaman's New Screenwriter Has Been Here Before

justice-league-aquaman-jason-momoa-hd-posterWill Beall (The Gangster Squad) is returning once again to write the script for DC's King of Atlantis according to THR. Beall was first attached to the project two years ago, but now that James Wan (The Conjuring) has come on board, Beall is back and working from an outline created by the director. Jason Momoa is playing Arthur Curry / Aquaman.

Beall, who was teamed with Kurt Johnstad on the first pass, left the project to become the showrunner for the Training Day television series.

Aquaman is due out July 27th, 2018.
