Megacon's Christine Alger Joins MAD Events

AlgerMAD Event Entertainment, the folks behind the Long Beach Comic Con, the New Jersey Comic Con and the recent Anime Fan Fest NJ, have added a new pop culture tradeshow veteran. Christine Alger joins the team after spending a decade with MegaCon where she worked along side her mother, the founder of the convention.

"A lot has changed since we hosted our first show in Long Beach seven years ago" said Martha Donato, Executive Director and Founder of MAD Events. "We continue to outpace the industry in growth in attendance year over year, and have added a second successful show in Long Beach, and two more in New Jersey. As our events continue to grow, we have been fortunate to staff up with some of the best and brightest in the field, and I am thrilled to add Christine's incredible experience and enthusiasm to our team!"

"I really admire what Martha and her team have done in Long Beach and beyond" said Christine Alger, newly appointed consultant for MAD Event Management. "I couldn't be more excited to work with a growing organization with such an impressive roster of events!"

Alger joins MAD as the organization gears up for their eighth straight Long Beach Comic Con at the Long Beach Convention Center on September 17 and 18. More info can be found at longbeachcomiccon.com.
