I'm Molly Schofield from Be Amazed Studios, and here to talk to you about our Kickstarter for Galactic Bounty Hunters #1 and Earth Outlaws #2.

You've probably clicked on the link and are shocked – shocked to discover we've already made our goal (How exciting)! But the lesson we've learned here at Be Amazed is that we never ever give up on our quest to bring you awesome alternatives to today's big publisher offerings.

Last year, we ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for the first issue of Earth Outlaws, which turned out to be a hit. Written by Don Thomas and Cody Stewart with artwork from Paul Green, Earth Outlaws follows former astronaut Dane Quaid who has stolen the most sophisticated space shuttle ever built in hopes of finding his brother, who he believes has been stranded in space. This Kickstarter will continue that series while also launching our spin-off series, Galactic Bounty Hunters.

Galactic Bounty Hunters pairs the cut-throat and motor-mouthed Willow with a team of monstrous aliens. One part Firefly and two parts Reservoir Dogs, GBH takes its audience on a fun, fast-paced, and subversive ride through the unexplored parts of the universe with a team of bounty hunters from all walks of life who have come together for their shared love of the one thing that unites us all… Cold hard cash. We've got writer Pat Shand (Iron Man, Robyn Hood, Angel) and artist Romano Molenaar (X-Men, Detective Comics, Birds of Prey) on board, along with letterer Taylor Esposito working on both titles.
