Dave Johnson Cosplaying As Chewbacca Mom?

A week ago, when the hundreds of millions viral sensation "Chewbacca Mom" appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show, she got a VIP invite for her and her family to go to Dallas Fan Expo to meet the real Chewbacca  Peter Mayhew.

And she did. As evidenced by this post from comic book artist Dave Johnson. She agreed to sign for attendees to raise money for charity, charging $20 a pop.

WTF!?! $20 a signature.

Some people have seen this Instagram post as critical of the show's decision to give her such a position at the show.

But I prefer to see it more as Dave Johnson paying tribute by cosplaying as Chewbacca Mom. And thinking she should be charging even more  for charity…

Although at this moment maybe he isn't enough of a happy Chewbacca.
