Talking Comics – Hyperion #1, Assassins Creed #1, Delete #1, Circuit Breaker #1 & More!

Bleeding Cool welcomes the return of Talking Comics, from Excalibur Comics, Cards, and Games in Shreveport, Louisiana, to discuss this week's upcoming books, speculating about where they are headed, and discuss their favorite storylines.

Hosts Randy Young and Chris Hunter say:

Thanks for pressing play!

This is a huge week for independent comics as we get several brand-new titles from Titan Comics hitting the shelves with titles like Assassin's Creed: Templars, Dr. Who The Fourth Doctor, and Independence Day! Be sure and check out these fantastic offerings from Titan comics starting this week

Marvel is also giving us another solo superhero series this week with Hyperion. As he travels across the United States to find out more about the people of the world that he's adopted, he comes across a young lady in trouble and she is being tracked down by a bunch of crazy people called The Carnies. Let's find out what Hyperion does with this brand-new series!

This week, Marvel Comics gives us three Avengers Standoff tie-in series hitting the shelves this week taking us even deeper into the story that will eventually be Civil War II. If you are following this road leading up to Civil War II, do not miss these tie-in issues!

Several of our favorite comics are hitting the shelves this week as well like Batman, Rocketeer At War, Cry Havoc, Uncanny X-Men, and Birthright. These are some of the first comics that we will be reading this week. What are some of yours?

A very interesting graphic novel hits the shelf this week called The Rattler and I'm very excited to read about this story of a man that loses his fiancée only to hear her voice on the other end of a telephone 10 years later, reigniting his passion to track her down and find her after all these years.

Don't miss out on our Question of the Week as we explore the X-Men and we want to know your thoughts concerning their movie universe!
