Pokemon Go's First Footage Has Found Its Way Online

Pokemon Go has been largely elusive since the exaggerated launch trailer came out last year. It's been hard to imagine what the game would actually look like in reality, with little to nothing to give us any indication.

Well, contemplate no longer, as this first footage of the game has sneaked up online. At SXSW CEO of Niantic, John Hanke, gave the audience their first look at the game in action. That has found its way online, showing the capture of an Ivysaur (via Dtoid). Take a look:

While this isn't rip roaring action, the player essentially just chucking balls at Pokemon, there are things here that aren't shown off like battles, and group events. It's still too early to make much of this, but we will have to see how full the final experience is when it finally launches.
