Poison Ivy, Power Man And Iron Fist And Monstress Put On Advance Reorders This Week

Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!

While the Spider-Man/Deadpool second and third prints take the the top, followed by the new Iron Man title and Extraordinary X-Men, it's always worth looking at the titles you might not expect to make this list. And I don't just mean Monstress #4, which is clearly outperforming initial expectations. Or Power Man & Iron Fist #2 and Superman: Coming Of The Supermen #2, demonstrating strong sell through fr the first issue.

No, the most interesting book for me on this list is Poison Ivy #3, a comic that retailers seems to be realising they have been underordering and have been bumping up their numbers to match demand. Could the book return after Rebirth? The deman is there

There's also increased love for the launch of the new Archer & Armstrong comic, and could people finally be coming round to the idea of reading Inhumans comics as Uncanny Inhumans #5 makes an appearance?

Oh and Marvel must be asking if they really should have canned Star Wars: Kanan or kept it going, it remains a feature on this list as retailers keep upping their orders for the animated spinoff.
