A Comic Show – GI Joe Vs Street Fighter's Fight Club

Aaron Haaland writes,

Hey Fandom! This week I talk briefly about the few details we have so far on DC Rebirth. Then I dig into DKIII #3, Coming of the Supermen, and Justice League.

Max (Say Anything) Bemis' X-Men: Worst X-Man Ever #1 was a trip. I totally enjoyed engaging with my iconic and idealized version of mutant team through the eyes of someone as lame as me! Karnak #2's finally here, as of coarse it's worth the wait. I wouldn't care at all about a Karnak book that was monthly, but didn't have Warren Ellis. All things have flaws, right? Daredevil and All-New Avengers both continued their great new runs. With DD it's breaking new ground while tonally hearkening back to the atmosphere of Frank Millers run.

As for the rest of my favorites for the week, I liked Faith, Rick & Morty, Fight Club, Saga, and The Goddamned. But the kid in me felt joy in the way of classic GI Joe nostalgic nonsense with GI Joe vs Street Fighter! The entire book is a series of fights! It's all really well done one-on-one contests between characters of the two franchises because Destro has a new super weapon that's somehow powered by one-on-one combat?! Yup, this is the other half of the battle.
