Doom's Single Player Campaign Is Going To Be 13 Hours Long
Game length is a hot topic nowadays, with some games only lasting three hours and others lasting hundreds. It seems what feels like the 'sweet spot' of the 15 hours game has actually become a little rarer.
Well, it seems Doom is going to fit in there quite nicely. That's according to the game's official Twitter account, who claim that the game's single player is taking those in the office 13+ hours.
My biggest worry for Doom is one of variety. The play that we've seen looks fun, fast and brutal. Stretch that over 13 hours, doing the same thing? That could wear thin. I hope Id Software have figured out something great to do with the gameplay, to keep the game feeling fresh.
