Aliens, Prophecies, Sinners And Saints On Christmas Day
CruZader: Agent of the Vatican is a graphic novel written and published by Omar Morales , drawn by Joel Cotejar, coloured by Mike Dolce, lettered by Jaymes Reed, with a cover by Paul Gulacy and Rain Beredo. He describes it as "a story about a reluctant hero that contains everything he's ever wanted to see in a comic book: supernatural action/adventure, conspiracies, ancient prophecies, and aliens… A reluctant exorcist is retrained as a holy hitman for the Vatican against his will; he must embrace his destiny in the face of an apocalyptic prophecy. What drives this action-adventure tale is the inner conflict that CruZader suffers as a result of the violent duties he carries out on behalf of the Vatican. There is a ton of strain and tension in his relationship with the Pope. He keeps a very explosive secret from the Pontiff, which adds to the intrigue and payoff of this origin story."
Limited print copies are available direct from Omar Morales here and digitally available at ComiXology. This 144-page, full-color, mature readers graphic novel comes in a laminated hardcover format and retails for $19.99 in both print and digital formats.
It is also the only graphic novel catalogued in the hallowed halls of the Vatican Archives. It is also the Guinness World Records' titleholder for "Largest Comic Book Published."
