A Comic Show – A Dark Knight Christmas!

Hey Fandom! I'm back for the Christmas week of New Comics Now! Star Wars The Force Awakens was awesome! I don't even hint at spoiling it in this video, other than to say that my daughter and I loved it. Vader Down part 4 was crazy good too. It's a great time to be a Star Wars fan.

Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat! #1 was tons of fun. I mean I'd love to see her go by Trish now and not the antiquated "Patsy", but oh well. No Jessica Jones isn't here, but She-Hulk is! Daredevil #2 continued Soule's darker Daredevil. And Extraordinary X-Men #4 had a bonkers cliffhanger.

DKIII #2 was even better than #1 for me, and I'm one of those guys who hated Dark Knight Strikes Back. The mini comic is Wonder Woman centered and features art by Risso. The main story is more Bat vs Cops and also picks up where the Atom mini book left off. I'm totally sold on this title. Robin War heats up with unexpected twists.

Plenty of great independent books are out including some of my favorites like Saga, Fight Club, and Rick & Morty. And Zdarsky's Kaptara is out as a $9.98 volume 1, if you ever liked MOTU you need this book in your life!

It being almost Christmas and all I showed off two merchandise items that are new this week (and that I'm getting for myself). The first is a Green Lantern JLU animated style power battery bank. And then there's the beautifully drawn Justice League Tarot card set featuring…Watchmen?! Merry Christmas!
