Gary Whitta, Chip Zdarsky And Ryan North Throw Their Hats In The Ring For Batman

Yesterday, Bleeding Cool ran an article reporting that DC Comics had approached a number of Marvel exclusive writers and artists asking about their contractual availability to take over the Batman monthly comic.

This would be a long term plan and may be nothing more than DC Comics preparing for every eventuality regarding creators Scott Snyder and Gregg Capullo, currently into their fifth bestselling year on the comic.

But hey. No reason other folk might not throw their hat into the ring.

Such as Gary Whitta, writer of Book Of Eli, After Earth and Star Wars: Rogue One.

Or Chip Zdarsky, who is… Chip Zarsky.

While Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Adventure Time comics writer Ryan North gets very specific.

One of these could happen, surely. Anyone else fancy a go? These are contractually binding tweets after all…
