Oculus Rift Making Announcement At The Game Awards – Is It The Release Date?
There is one thing that has dogged the Oculus Rift around for a long time now, and that is the issue of a specific release date. Oculus have made multiple public appearances continually, yet the closest we are to knowing anything is a vague 'early 2016' window.
Well, Oculus will be at the Game Awards on Thursday with CEO Palmer Luckey in attendance. And not only that, they will be making a 'special announcement'. You can see reference to that here:
Will it be the release date? Logic would dictate, but it could also be some kind of game announcement too. Perhaps compatibility with an up coming game or an Oculus exclusive. I'll let you know when its made on Thursday.
