Star Wars: Battlefront To Continue To Give Free DLC
The Battle of Jakku is coming for free to Star War: Battlefront early next month. With with a $50 Season Pass on top of the main game though, many assumed it would be the last blast of content handed to us without cost.
It seems that is not so though. In a blog post, DICE revealed that there are currently plans for more free content, with new maps and Star Cards planned along the way. I'd be pretty surprised if we got anything on a new planet for free, but I could see more variants of existing planets to mix things up a bit.
Free content is hardly anything to scoff at, and I like that there is an intent to provide players with more even if they don't opt into the expensive DLC. Here's hoping it's great content too.
