Proving that StarCraft is still a major player (and hey, it's from Blizzard, so who'd argue otherwise), we now know that the expansion, Legacy of the Void, has sold a million copies since it launched less than a week ago.

The was revealed by this tweet from the official StarCraft account.

In fact, Legacy of the Void only came out five days ago at time of writing, which means these figures (which are probably largely digital) are almost as impressive as those of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

It's been a good month for games on the whole, really, as Microsoft also dominated in the NDPs for October.
