Marvel Makes It Up To 10% Easier For Retailers To Order Hip Hop Covers

Marvel's hip-hop variant covers have got plenty of media attention, some bad, most good. But with all the hype, it's a bit of a rigmarole for retailers to get copies, having to order 150% or 200% of another title for this title, and after which they can order Hip Hop variants on top.

Well, Marvel has listened. And, as announced at Baltimore Diamond Retail Summit, and reducing the qualifying numbers by 7.5% to 10%

So to order the Phil Noto Hip Hop variant cover of Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #2, retailers just have to order 140% of their numbers for #1, instead of 150%.

Or for Howling Commanodoes Of SHIELD's hip hop variant cover, they have to order 135% instead of 150% of their orders for Mrs Deadpool And The Howling Commandoes #2

For Angela Queen Of Hel's Annie Wu Hip Hop variant cover, retailer only have to order 185% of their orders of Angela: Asgard's Assassin #5 instead of 200%.

And for Extraordinary X-Men #1, retailers only have to order 180% of their orders of All-New X-Men #34 to qualify to order the Green hip hop cover.
