It Was A Dark And Gloomy Springfield

Artist Tim Doyle's gallery is quite fascinating. He has a section he does called Unreal Estate where he does his own dark and desolate take on popular places such as the group of illustrations below. Here he takes the bright and iconic designs of Matt Groening's Sprinfield from the Simpsons and gives it a very different feel.

He has also done various other pieces that include a variety of locations like a converted firehouse used in Ghostbusters and an apartment complex with a certain blue police box in the courtyard.
