BOOM! Box's Munchkin Vol. 1 TP Is Guaranteed Laugh Out Loud Fun
If you haven't experienced BOOM! Box' Munchkin yet, you're in for a treat because the first four issues are being collected into a TP. Based on one of the most popular tabletop card games, Munchkin Vol. 1 is sure to be a blast. Writers Tom Siddell, and Jim Zub join forces with artists Ian McGinty, Rian Sygh, Mike Holmes, and John Kovalic to transport the colorful cast of characters from cards to comics.
Munchkin takes place in a very flexible mashup of genres. What do Munchkins do? They play for the win. They backstab. They gloat. They whine when someone else backstabs or gloats. If a Munchkin seems to show mercy, it's because he was bored or distracted. After all, even stomping an ant helps you level up. The trade paperback will collect issues #1-4 and will contain an offer for an exclusive new Munchkin playable item! I highly recommend this comic. It's laugh out loud fun! Prepare for it's release this January.
