Nearly free of her franchise commitments to The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence tells the The New York Times she and Amy Schumer are co-writing a film for the pair to star in. “We play sisters,” she expalined. “We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now.”
After meeting a few months ago, the two began working together. “Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors,” the actress said of the process. “It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up.”
Since this is the first time any mention has been made of the script, no other details are available — not even a title. In fact, Lawrence reportedly sent a text message to Schumer asking if it was okay to tell The New York Times. Schumer’s response: “That you’re gay? Totally! It’s exciting!”
I’m sure it won’t be long before the script finds a home and all the usual movie making jazz, simply because people want to be in business with Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer.
