Listen To 15 Minutes Of Halo 5's Leaked Soundtrack Right Here

The music of Halo has always been a huge part of the universe. We all know the iconic sounds of Marty O'Donnel's classic soundtrack, and last time around, I think Neil Davidge had a pretty great go of defining a new era for the franchise.

Some of the best tracks on the Halo 4 soundtrack weren't directed by the headlining composer though, and instead were attributed to in house Kazuma Jinnouchi. That man has now been given the reigns to Halo 5, and you can listen to some of the material he has done right here. This leaked on the menus of the multiplayer beta for those who still had it installed on their Xbox Ones, since it was still updating. That is a pretty big oversight.

Microsoft have also assured the validity of the music to in a statement to Polygon saying:

It's unfortunate when work-in-progress content leaks, but this Halo 5: Guardianscontent is part of our ongoing private, external testing for multiplayer. We will continue to rigorously test Halo 5: Guardians to ensure the best possible experience for fans at launch

Take a listen here. This is gorgeous music, and if the rest of the soundtrack is this good, I'll be going crazy for it come October
