The Rayman Creator Has Made A Super Mario Maker Level
Michel Ancel is an absolute master at platform designing. The more recent Rayman games, which is to say Origins and Legends, are some of my favorite platformers ever.
That is why I am excited to hear that the french designer has designed a level for Super Mario Maker. Bringing in someone like Ancel to use the tools Nintendo have given and letting them run wild is a very interesting prospect. It will be quite intriguing to see if the Ancel level 'feels' like an Ancel level.
Take a look at this video of him designing it, although granted you may not understand too much unless you speak French.
I really hope we see more developers designing levels too. What does a Hideo Kojima Mario level look like? Hidetaka Miyazaki? Ken Levine? Cliff Bleszinski? I'd love to see them all have a go.
