Rocket League '100%' Coming To Other Platforms Says Developer

Rocket League is the game's industry's darling at the moment. People can't get enough of it, and I am with them. I'm gaga about the game right now.

The dominant platform for the game thus far has been PlayStaiton 4 after being free with PlayStation Plus last month, but it is also on Steam, for those PC players out there. Right now though, that is it.

For those of you with just an Xbox One, Wii U, Mobile Phone, IPad, original Gameboy or an Atari 2600, it is time to wait with bated breath. Speaking to GameZone, VP of marketing and communications for Psyonix Jeremy Dunham said the game won't be exclusive to the platforms it is on now forever:

We are absolutely, 100 percent going to other platforms. What those platforms are and when we'll come to them, I don't know yet.

Nothing is off the table. If the game can work on the platform and we can responsibly get that game working on a platform, we will never say never to any of the platforms that are current-gen. Anything is possible.

I fully expect to see the game on Xbox One at some point. I just hope it is soon enough that the game is still riding the wave of the mindshare. If you haven't played this game yet though, you need to get on it.
