Tom Cruise likes to do his own stunts when possible. Even when that stunts involves hanging on to the side of an airplane in flight. The scene we've seen over and over in the trailers and TV spots as Ethan Hunt hangs on to the plane as it's taking off while Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg) is trying to get the door open… that is really a plan taking off and really Cruise holding on.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation opens July 31st.
