SDCC '15: Highlights From Marvel's TV Panel – Lash Joins The Show

Marvel conducted their television panel this afternoon at SDCC and started off by talking about Marvel's Agent Carter. The panel was narrated by Jeph Loeb and attended by Hayley Atwell and James D'Arcy. Season 2 will start up 6 months after the previous season and Carter and Jarvis are headed to Hollywood. D'Arcy wonders if they will ever get to meet Jarvis' wife. Peggy Carter will be in Los Angeles to investigate a case that the L.A.P.D. can't crack… the writer's say they have been heavily influenced this season by noir films like Chinatown and L.A. Confidential.

This was followed by the Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD panel that included Clark Gregg, Adrienne Palicki, Henry Simmons, Luke Mitchell, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain de Caestecker and Nick Blood. The show no longer refers to Bennet's character as Skye, but rather as Daisy Johnson or as Quake. But the big news was the announcement that the Inhuman named Lash would be joining the series. No casting information or an idea of how he will look, but since he's never looked to human it should be very interesting.

Lash first appeared in 2014's Inhuman #1 by Charles Soule and Joe Madureira. He is extremely strong and agile and has the ability to absorb and expel energy. The character was part of a hidden city of Inhumans called Orollan who believed pure bloodlines only should go through terrogenesis. He'd get along well with most of the Inhumans we met last season.

There was a video showing Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tanchareon throwing darts at characters pictures trying to decide who to kill off when Anthony Mackie (The Flacon) arrives with donuts. Will we see Falcon in season 3?
