The Bleed is a weekly podcast by Bleeding Cool contributors Joe Schmidt and Sam Morse. The podcast consists of the latest news in comics, creator interviews, and a weekly book club discussion.

You might remember we read a little book called Kaijumax on the podcast.This week sees the book's creator join the show, Zander Cannon! This prolific cartoonist's work can also be seen in his own book Heck or the Top 10 with Alan Moore and Gene Ha, and you can find his latest title online or at the LCS through Oni Press.

Cannon, based in Minneapolis, MN, decided to go with some from a local creator, so he chose Peter Wartman's graphic novel Over the Wall, released by Uncivilized Books.

Next week welcomes Swifty Lang to the podcast, writer of Plunder from BOOM! Studios. Lang will be discussing the indie classic Black Hole by Charles Burns as well as his own work.
