Southern Bastards Picked Up For FX TV Series

southernbastards_1_optThe comic Southern Bastards by Jason Aaron and Jason Latour, much loved around these parts and published by Image Comics is to be developed as a TV series for US channel FX.

Deadline reports that it, amongst other projects, has been picked up by Scott Rudin Productions, who have just opened offices on the Fox lot.

Aaron and Latour will be executive productions and they will write the adaptation together. The Southern Bastards deal was negotiated by Harris Miller III and Angela Cheng-Caplan.

Southern Bastards #1 recently sold on eBay for $8 while the Heroes Con variant sold for $50. Look for those values to rise sharply…
