First Hellboy Drawing Made Into A Statue

Mondo, the company normally known for exclusive prints, has taken the original sketch Mike Mignola did of Hellboy from back in 1991 and turned it into a statue. The sketch, drawn at a comic convention and in black & white was given to original Hellboy colorist Dave Stewart to come up with the color scheme.

Now they will be releasing the piece as a 12" statue. This design, with the Hell Boy name on the belt, would become the iconic filed-horn fighter of the supernatural that has graced the comic pages and theater screens. This is a unique piece for Hellboy fans.
