Figure Heads Is Square Enix's New Robo-Shootout Game

This came out of no-where. Square Enix decided they couldn't wait for there E3 press conference to announce a new game, so have decided to reveal something new today instead.

Figure Heads is a new Japanese infused mech shooter that features 5 on 5 firefights featuring mech warriors. The story goes that mankind have been forced underground after asteroids hit the planet and now have robots on the surface to do their bidding. It turns out their bidding is to have them find and destroy other robots.

Here is a trailer for the game, featuring a lot of Japanese signatures, from Anime avatars to pumping J-pop.

It's said we will know more about the game come June 10th, so keep your eyes peeled.
