A New Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Is Coming Next Year
Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warefare was afun little diversion for the series that I really enjoyed. It had the same tenants of the original game that made the franchise a distinct success, but wrapped up in a totally new framework. It was an inspired little move by PopCap, and while it didn't keep me playing for hours, I had a lot of fun with the time I did play.
It looks like another one might be coming too. As pointed out by VideoGamer, a job advertisement for an Associate Interface Designer makes reference to the game saying:
Popcap HD is looking for a talented Interface Designer to help bring the UI of a new Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare game to life.
EA announced that a new Plants vs. Zombies game was coming to console in early 2016 last month so this isn't a huge surprise. At least we now know what form it's going to take. I expect we will hear more at EA's E3 Press Conference.
