Rosario Dawson Signs On For Daredevil Season 2 And More

DawsonIt was just announced by Marvel that Rosario Dawson will be back as Claire Temple / Night Nurse in season 2 of Daredevil. But the announcement was bigger than that. It's a larger deal that will allow her to appear in any of the Marvel / Netflix series including A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.

In the first season of Daredevil, Dawson's character was both medical aide and a romantic interest to Matt Murdock. The romance seemed to end as the season did, but with her coming back things could start up again and the deal may allow the series to put in place the comic history of Claire Temple as an ex-girlfriend of Luke Cage.

Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones will debut later this year. The second season of Marvel's Daredevil and the first season of Marvel's Luke Cage are slated for 2016. Release dates for Marvel's Iron Fist and the miniseries Marvel's The Defenders have not been announced.
